Delighted at having been invited as guest speaker for the Swalecliffe – Womens Institute (WI), I found myself immersed with around 50 other ladies present. These WI ladies were most welcoming. Wearing a headset and holding the microphone I shared my hair loss story. Then came the opportunity for these delightful ladies to get ‘hands-on’ with my display wigs. Questions and answers completed there was time to listen to others experiences of cancer and hair loss. The sense of solidarity relating to hair loss just goes to show that we are not alone and a little support from other ladies goes a very long way for those us who face the follicle challenge.
